Balsamic Vinegar of Modena 3D Printed Collection Bottles to celebrate 50 years of the Coterie
Vinegraal is a porcelain Bottle 3D printed with the DeltaWASP 2040. It has been designed to celebrate a very important anniversary: 50 years of the Spilamberto’s Coterie, the Association that defends the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.
Why Vinegraal
Vinegraal is a project by Slow/d to celebrate the 50th aniversary of Consorteria dell’Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena (1966 – 2016) and support its valuable work of protection, promotion and dissemination of the original traditional method. A work of timeless passion and expertise, which today continue to come into contact with the new generations and with a wider and international audience: the project Vinegraal has beed designed to achieve these goals. It’s called Vinegraal as to play on the fusion of the words “Vinegar” and “Graal”, which in ancient French means “Grail”, the mythical cup which appears in so many medieval legends. This name has been adopted so as to underline the preciousness and uniqueness of the product.
A limited, incredible and unique edition
Vinegraal will be sent into the future (and we hope soon to your homes as well), in the official bottle (a guarantee in itself of the genuineness of the product), accompanied by a container and a poetic accessory especially designed to mark this anniversary by our friends at Slow/d, all presented in a commemorative packaging which is nothing short of breath-taking. This project comes at the end of a process that involved young professionals in the field of product design; the project of the young designer Ludovica Canzutti was the “special one” Consorteria chose for this aniversary: a container inspired by the ancient “tragno” and accompanied by a stylus / cap with which to sign your own dishes. The container will be in 3D printed ceramic, only 500 units and equipped with a Balsamic Vinegar Extravecchio from the barrels of the Consorteria and a selection of the best producers, the only one of its kind that we consider the “holy grail” of balsamic vinegars.
