the LUTUM® 5M | 3D CLAY PRINTER
The LUTUM 5M is the smaler type of the LUTUM 5.
It has all the same prnting features with three exceptions.
– a smaller printing envelope of 25x25x40 LWH.
– only 1 extruder can be mounted.
– no lights under the X-arm
The LUTUM 5M* model includes:
– v10 SST extruder.
– two Size S cartridges
– one Size L cartridge
– The 5M runs on 32bit electronics with an integrated 4″ touch screen.

– full toolset
– full nozzle set
– 5 pack S – sleeve

– two 25x30x5cm plaster print beds

– USB cable
General specifications:
– Robust Mechanics similar to our high end LUTUM versions..
– fully powder coatet or anodized for easy cleaning.
– Moving parts like spindels and belts are protected or hidden inside the construction.
– internal power is 24v.
– The printer can print grogged clay up to 0.2mm at 25%.
– the build envelope size is 25x25x40cm – XYZ.
– the LUTUM extruders have excellent start stop and retract behaviour.
– the printer allows accelerated/decellerated movements and extrusion.
– equipped with bed level compensation technology
This printer needs 6 bar air pressure to run, make sure you have a regulated air supply where you setup the machine. The air must be clean, oil free and dry. Make sure your installation has a water separation unit attached between the compressor and the printer. Damage to the pressure regulator of the printer due to oxidation is not covered by our warranty.
The printer supply air coupling is of the standard 14Ka male type (Orion).
Filling of the cartridges can be done by hand.
Properly prepared clay gives best print results.
When using more sleeves for printing larger amounts it is advised to fill cartridges with a pugmill.
You can a order an adapter for your pugmill to fill the PC sleeves.
