The LUTUM® Clay Cartridge size S
The metal cartrige replaces the old PVC type cartridge.
If you own or still use the old type cartridge please contact VormVrij for upgrade assistance prompty, your old cartridge may have reached its end of live service and should to be replaced.
The metal cartridges are easy to clean, it can be quickly dismantled into their various components.
When you need to prepare and store clay for larger volume production you do not need to purchase many cartridge sets.
You can supplement your Cartridge with additional low cost PolyCarbonate sleeves to store your prepared clay, you can purchase them separately at a later time or include them to your order.
This clay storage and pressure vessel is made from Stainless steel, lightweight Aluminium and strong polycarbonate (pc) parts.
The maximum working pressure is 6 Bar and it comes with an easy snap-in PU type connector on top. It screws directly onto the extruder.
This cartridge holds 700cc clay volume (1kg of printable clay).
The cartridge fits all extruders and with an optional adapter ring also fits previous extruders from the LUTUM 3 and before.

– Read the safety, assembly and maintenance instructions that came with your printer before you use this equipment.
– Always greese all threads with acid free vaseline before reassembly.
– This cartridge has a Maximum operating pressure of 6 Bar.
– When you find damage on the threads or the thread is skipping when tightening, discard an replace with a new component.
